REFLECTION

Teacher-centered/Learner-centered most of my teacher were used teacher centered learning style. all students have to listen their teachers because of teachers saying is a clue of exam quesions. when students listen their teacher carefully, they get higher grade easily because of teacher centered learning style. all my experiences are the same as I talked above.

    hi Mehmet :) I do not agree with you. this is because, I think that teachers should offer practical courses and students have permanent information. I'm sure sometimes you're right about it.

    I'm agree with Ezgi, because when I was in high school, I had teachers who used teacher centered method. And We never learned anything, because students need practical examples and more visual things by using done themselves. Maybe we used mixed both student and teacher centered as Our teacher Steve Neufeld said :)

    Hi Mehmet! I see your point. I think it is the situation that many Turkish education students feels. I think it is because of traditions and many students are raised to see teacher as an authority in the class. Did you think the reason in this way? I am curious about what you think .

    Dear Mehmet, I get your point. As Selin said, this is because of the Turkish education system. However I think nowadays this situation is changing by young teachers. We have world view so 2 or 3 years later we are not going to be like these backward minded teachers.
