Well, 'never say never'. I gave up on being a mathematics teacher when I graduated from university in 1978. I then had a 12-year-long career in museums, only to return to university in 1990 and get my B.Ed and started teaching English in Czechoslovakia in 1991. So, just imagine that you could design a 'superteacher' and explain what qualities you would endow to your 'superteacher'.
I've met many ones who say as you say " No way! I won't be a teacher" Actually our methadology teacher told us a story about someone like you. But in recent years she saw him in this very campus! Our teacher was Alev Ozbilgin who told this story to us and this man still teaching in this campus. So never say never :)
I believe that you should try it before you say "no" ! :D How do you know that you will not like being a teacher ? Maybe you have good communication skills you can use on your students but you are just simply not aware of them because you have never tried to uncover them... I also tell you, never say never. :D
Dear Mehmet, I was a footballer before I came here and I was good at playing football and I was on top when I was 17-18 years old and during that times I never think about education and I didn't think myself as a teacher. I thought that one of the most important thing for me is playin football but one day, durin a match I broke my right leg and I didn't walk 6 months. This accident was end of my football carreer but beginning of my academic career. To sum up, "Never say Never". you don't know what will happen during your life ;)
